Overview
This video shows you how to connect QuickBooks Online to Zenwork Payments, import a payer with all related vendors, and then set up two-way sync. You’ll see how to bring payers in via bulk import, correct any vendor errors before importing, start a free trial for the payer, and finally enable two-way sync so updates flow between QuickBooks Online and Zenwork Payments.
Step-by-Step Process
- From All Payers, click Add Payer → Bulk Import, choose the QuickBooks Online logo, connect, and select the company (payer) to import.
- On the preview page, click Show rows with errors, fix issues with the pencil icon, optionally exclude inactive or unwanted vendors, and click Import.
- Follow the prompts, then on the Pricing tab start the 30-day free trial by adding or selecting a card, confirming billing details, and subscribing.
- Back on All Payers, open the imported payer, go to Integration → Sync Settings, choose Two-way Sync, select the source platform, and save.
- In the Integration section, click Sync Data → Sync Now and review success and conflict messages to keep your data up to date.
What Gets Synced / Imported
When you connect QuickBooks Online and import a payer, Zenwork Payments brings in:
- The selected company (payer/client) and its related information
- All linked vendors, with the option to exclude inactive or unwanted vendors
- Associated data needed for payments and accounts payable processing
- Updated information from QuickBooks when you run Sync Data and use two-way sync
